Multiple Effect Cartridge System
The “MECS-Family” provides the user community with multiple effects to simulate various battle and weapon effects, such as firings from tanks, anti-tank weapon and artillery guns. A 32 shot launching system to ignite pyrotechnic simulators of the MECS range of products. The LGSS is both, a stand-alone system or an integral part of a complex combat training installation for force-on-force or force-on-target training.
Weapon Effect Signature Simulator WESS
WESS is based on the design of the LGSS 16 launcher. It uses a different ammunition plate – 2 launching tubes – for the ignition of the Surface-to-Air Missile Simulator. By exchanging the 2-launching tubes ammunition plate with a 16-shot-ammunition plate, MECS Simulators can also be fired from the WESS launcher. WESS is usable as stand-alone system or as an integral part of systems stimulating the detection system inside of helicopters.
2104 Mini Launch Unit, MLU
The Mini Launch Unit is an easy to install launcher, both for indoor and outdoor applications. It initiates either the Micro or Macro Card simulators and is insofar an ideal candidate to simulate “Booby Traps”.
Small Gunnery Signature Simulator SGSS
A simplified launching device (six shots) to fire MECS cartridges via a simple electric triggering system. However, the device can be integrated into more complex training systems.
Portable Control Unit PCU
The Portable Control Unit is a stand-alone device with which launching systems like LGSS, WESS can be controlled. The device is pre-programmable and allows the trainer flexibility in his exercise.
